Vibrating Circular Membranes
A vibrating membrane with two initial nodal circles and two initial
nodal diameters occurring in the vibration of modes (0,1) (0,2) (1,1) (2,1).
- Vibrating circular membranes do not vibrate with a harmonic series yet they do have an overtone series, it is just not harmonic.
- Vibrating circular membranes are two-dimensional and they can vibrate in many modes simultaneously.
